Matt Kenseth broke a 76-race winless streak in dominating style Saturday night at Texas Motor Speedway, reaching the finish line 8.3 seconds ahead of runner-up Clint Bowyer after leading 169 of the 334-lap Samsung Mobile 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

"After over two years, I didn't know if I'd get a chance to get here again," Kenseth shared in Victory Lane.

Kenseth's last win came at Fontana in February 2009.

"It has been a long time. I am really happy for Jimmie and all these guys on the Crown Royal Black Ford. I have lost a lot of close ones at this track. It feels good to be able to close it out.”

Carl Edwards finished third followed by Greg Biffle and Paul Menard.

Marcos Ambrose, David Ragan, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Kurt Busch completed the top-10.

Tony Stewart finished 12th after running out of fuel on the final lap.

Edwards leads the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings as the series heads to Talladega next week.
