2011 Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne will run the NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 21st with an official announcement expected later today.

Bayne is guaranteed a spot in the prestigious event after his surprise win in the Great American Race earlier this season but without additional sponsorship Bayne and the Wood Brothers Racing team were not planning to participate in the non-points race.

A news conference is scheduled at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Tuesday afternoon to announce sponsorship from Good Sam, the RV group owned by Camping World, for the No. 21 Ford at Talladega this weekend as well as the All-Star Race, sources confirmed Tuesday morning.

Originally planning to run a 17-race Sprint Cup schedule with Bayne, the Wood Brothers added several races to their program in February. Current plans call for the team to miss the Richmond race later this month, their first absence from the circuit so far this season.
