Tommy Baldwin Racing announced Wednesday Golden Corral will join the No. 36 team and driver Dave Blaney as primary sponsor for 19 Sprint Cup Series races and as an associate in nine events during the balance of the 2011 NASCAR season. Baldwin also announced the addition of Big Red to the TBR stable with the popular chewing gum brand scheduled to be on board for five races.

Golden Corral sponsored the TBR Chevrolet in the Daytona 500 in February and at Talladega two weeks ago. Blaney ran strong in both races, leading 21 laps at Talladega.

The North Carolina based restaurant chain will promote it's "“Racing for America’s Families” program through the multi-race sponsorship arrangement. When Blaney finishes in the top-10 Golden Corral will offer a free children’s buffet with an adult buffet purchase. Race fans must present a printed copy of the race results to receive the special offer. Additionally, Golden Corral plans to donate $5000 to the Disabled American Veterans as part of the program.

“We are thrilled to team up with TBR and Dave and extend our already successful partnership,” said Ed Gleich, VP of National Marketing for Golden Corral. “This is a great way to reward families and recognize the Disabled Veterans who have honorably served our country.”

Dave Blaney will drive the No. 36 Golden Corral Chevrolet in Saturday night's 400-mile Sprint Cup race at Richmond.

“We are thrilled to have Golden Corral come back and support us for the rest of the season,” explained TBR owner Tommy Baldwin. “Golden Corral is a well-established company, and we are proud they recognized our team’s hard work and performance. We look forward to competing for a top-10 for the ‘Racing for America’s Families’ promotion and will work hard to build successful programs with all of our partners.”

The No. 36 Big Red Chevrolet will appear at Infineon, Kentucky, Indianapolis, Chicagoland and Texas later this season.

“We are thrilled to add to our involvement in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series,” said Gary Smith, CEO of Big Red, Inc. “I've known Tommy for a long time and have tremendous respect for him and his program. Big Red and ALL SPORT have been key partners in many racing sponsorships in the past. Our consumers love the thrill of racing and appreciate our support of motorsports.”

Baldwin's hard work and determination to be competitive at the Sprint Cup level is beginning to pay dividends. Look for Blaney to be at the front more often as the season progresses.

“We are very excited to work with Big Red this season,” said Baldwin. “We have worked very hard to build a successful race team. To have companies like Big Red support us is a privilege.”
