Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch received penalties for their confrontation after Saturday night's Showtime Southern 500.  Both drivers were fined $25,000 and placed on probation until June 15, 2011.

NASCAR handed down the decision Tuesday as a result of Harvick and Busch violating Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing – involved in an altercation on pit road after the conclusion of the race).

Since Saturday night's altercation, Kevin Harvick has filed an entry for the Lucas Oil 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck race scheduled for Friday May 13th at Dover International Raceway.
