Matt Kenseth picked up his second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win of 2011 Sunday afternoon at the Dover International Speedway, taking the lead with 32 laps remaining and pulling away to a 2.122 second win in the FedEx 400. Kenseth broke a 76-race winless streak at Texas in April.

Kenseth's No. 17 Ford was strong all day, moving from the 24th position to run in the top-10 for most of the race. His break came when Jimmie Johnson and RFR teammate Carl Edwards, who combined to lead more than 300 of the 400-laps, took on four tires during the leader’s final visit to pit road. Kenseth's crew chief, Jimmy Fennig, called for a two-tire stop that put Kenseth behind leader Mark Martin for the last restart of the day on lap 369.

"We were going to do four, we got in the stall and decided to do two. That was the key," Kenseth said.

Mark Martin elected not to stop when the caution flew for the last time on lap 363 and finished second.

"Today, we finally got a finish," Martin said. "It looked like we were going to get 15th again with a really fast race car. We've had a race car this good a lot this year. But it seems like for some reason or another we end up in the back of the back."

Marcos Ambrose finished third followed by Kyle Busch and Brian Vickers.

Clint Bowyer, Carl Edwards, Martin Truex, Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick rounded out the top 10.

Carl Edwards continues to lead the Sprint Cup Series point standings with Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Kevin Harvick completing the top-five.
