Roush Fenway Racing's David Ragan led NASCAR practice for Saturday's Sprint All-Star Showdown at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The 2010 Showdown polesitter ran 188.403 mph to best Jeff Burton's fastest lap of 187.780 mph.

Following Ragan and Burton were Paul Menard, A.J. Allmendinger and Marcos Ambrose.

Sixth through tenth on the speed chart were David Gilliland, Martin Truex, Jr., Brad Keselowski, Travis Kvapil and Joey Logano.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was 11th fastest of the 27 cars on the track during the only session before Saturday's Showdown.
