Every driver who takes the green flag in Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 wants to take home the trophy at day's end. A long and grueling race for NASCAR's drivers and teams, each wants to lay claim to the bragging rights that come with winning this prestigious event.
Rich in history and tradition, the Coca-Cola 600 has been the flagship of Charlotte Motor Speedway since 1960. Many drivers have passed through the gate during that time with visions of being the first to take the checkered flag but few have been fortunate enough to be leading at the end of 600 miles.
This week's preview features polesitter Brad Keselowski, A.J. Allmendinger, Ryan Newman, Greg Biffle and defending 600 champion Kurt Busch sharing their views on the 2011 Coca-Cola 600.
