Joey Logano posted the fastest lap in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Happy Hour at Kansas Speedway Friday afternoon. Logano circled the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway at 170.175 mph to lead the 45 drivers participating in the final practice of the day.

Jeff Gordon recorded the second best lap of 170.122 mph followed by Brian Vickers, Mark Martin and Paul Menard.

Greg Biffle turned the fastest lap in opening Sprint Cup practice with a lap at 169.189 mph, followed by Roush teammate Carl Edwards, Charlotte polesitter Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon.

"I really like this race track. It is a lot of fun. It being hot and slick is kind of my favorite," said Biffle.

Sprint Cup qualifying for Sunday's STP 400 is scheduled for Saturday at 12:10 p.m. ET.
