NASCAR Chairman and CEO Brian France announced the NASCAR Hall of Fame class of 2012 Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina. The five-person class includes Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, Dale Inman, Richie Evans and Glen Wood.
The 2012 class will be inducted during a ceremony scheduled for January 20, 2012.
The 2012 class was determined by the NASCAR Hall of Fame Voting Panel and by a fan vote on NASCAR.com. Yarborough led the voting results with 85 percent, followed by Waltrip (82%), Inman (78%), Evans (50%) and Wood (44%).
Jerry Cook, Cotton Owens, Raymond Parks and Herb Thomas also received votes.
