infineon-racewayAs TNT’s Summer Series rolls on, NASCAR drivers are beginning to feel the pressure of the Chase. Denny Hamlin secured his first win of the season last week in Michigan and looks to carry that momentum to Sonoma as the Sprint Cup Series heads to the Infineon Raceway for a weekend full of road course fun while the Nationwide Series makes a return visit to Road America.

A strong run in Michigan by Carl Edwards and a rare bad day for Jimmie Johnson helped Carl retain the points lead going to Sonoma. Kevin Harvick takes over second as Johnson slipped back to fifth after finishing 27th last weekend. Reed Sorenson goes to Road America as the new Nationwide points leader over Elliott Sadler and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.

The weekend starts off in Road America on Friday with Nationwide practice at 1:00 p.m. with Sprint Cup drivers practicing at Sonoma at 3 p.m. which can be seen live on SPEED. Final Nationwide practice takes place at 4:30 p.m. followed by Sprint Cup Qualifying at 6:40 p.m. SPEED will have tape delayed coverage at 11 p.m.

On Saturday the Sprint Cup cars take to the track for two practice sessions, at 12:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. respectively. Both sessions will be on SPEED. Nationwide Series qualifying at Road America begins at 3:05 p.m. followed by the race at 5:30 p.m. Saturday’s Nationwide race will be live on on ESPN with driver introductions beginning at 4 p.m.

TNT’s Live Coverage of the Toyota/Savemart 350 from Infineon Raceway starts Sunday at 3 p.m. All times are listed in ET.
