Richard Petty Motorsports teammates Marcos Ambrose and AJ Allmendinger teamed up to post the fastest speeds at Daytona International Speedway.  Ambrose clocked in a lap at 199.411 mph while Allmendinger clocked in at 199.402.

 Kurt Busch, Brad Keselowski and Mark Martin competed the top-5.

Qualifying for the Coke Zero 400 is set to begin at 4:10 p.m. Friday afternoon.
