Kyle Busch took the win and the points lead, David Reutimann scored his best finish of the season, massive congestion on Interstate 71 and fan parking were all storylines for the Cup Series first visit to Kentucky Speedway. Hardcore race fans in Kentucky sent a loud and clear message to NASCAR last weekend and probably had the sanctioning body asking why they didn’t honor Jerry Carroll’s request for a Cup date years ago.

Kentucky Speedway – To the race fan out there that missed the race inside the track, I hope you get reimbursed very well for their mistake. (NR) Ryan Newman – One of seven drivers with five or more Top 5’s 10. (11) Joey Logano – Only five drivers have scored more points than Logano over the last five races. 11. (12) David Ragan – Is in the Chase because of his win at Daytona 12. (NR) Brad Keselowski – Needs four points more than Logano to get into 20th place which would put him into the Chase.
