NASCAR Schedule for New Hampshire & Iowa

All three of NASCAR’s touring series are in action this weekend as the Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series head to New Hampshire while Camping World Truck Series teams visit Iowa Speedway for race number eleven on their 2011 schedule.

 

Kyle Busch arrives in Loudon with the Sprint Cup point lead after winning last week in Kentucky. Carl Edwards is second followed by Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch and Jimmie Johnson. Elliott Sadler sits atop the Nationwide standings with a four-point advantage over Reed Sorenson. Johnny Sauter continues to reign in the Truck Series point battle.

 

This week’s NASCAR action begins Friday morning in New Hampshire with Nationwide and Sprint Cup practices at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. respectively. Final practice for Nationwide cars begins at 1:40 p.m. with Sprint Cup qualifying at 3:10 p.m. Catch it live on SPEED. The stars of the Truck Series take over in Iowa for their two practices which begin at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

 

Saturday kicks off in New Hampshire with Sprint Cup practice at 9:35 a.m. followed by Nationwide qualifying at 10:35 a.m. Sprint Cup Happy Hour is set for 11:45 a.m. Truck Series qualifying in Iowa will be taking place at 1:35 p.m., all on SPEED. The Nationwide cars take to the track for the New England 200 live on ESPN starting with the Countdown to Green at 2:30 p.m. Camping World Truck Series drivers take center stage with the Iowa 200 live on SPEED beginning with the setup at 7:30 p.m.

 

TNT concludes their Summer Series on Sunday with live coverage of the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at 12 p.m. Driver introductions begin at 12:30 p.m. All times are eastern.
