Clint Bowyer posted the fastest lap in Friday's opening Sprint Cup practice for Sunday's Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Bowyer circled the flat 1.058-mile track at 134.212 mph in the No. 33 RCR Chevrolet.
Tony Stewart was second fastest at 134.103 mph followed by Ryan Newman, A.J. Allmendinger and Paul Menard.
Kurt Busch, Regan Smith, Greg Biffle, Juan Pablo Montoya and Denny Hamlin completed the top-10.
Sprint Cup qualifying is set for 3:10 p.m. ET today and will be live on SPEED.
