Ryan Newman has higher expectations for Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway after setting a track record in Friday’s qualifying session. Newman, who starts from the pole, will have his teammate and car-owner Tony Stewart to his outside when the green flag waves.
With a front row sweep this weekend Stewart has to be proud of his organization. Newman has a fast car and will be tough on Sunday but don’t count either of them out.
Newman and Stewart commented in the New Hampshire Motor Speedway Media Center following their qualifying runs.
