Ryan Newman had fuel on his mind in the closing laps of Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. With crew chief Tony Gibson on the radio telling Newman he was eight laps short car No. 39 was in conservation mode while the No. 14 of Tony Stewart was growing larger in his rear-view mirror.
The "Rocket Man" held on to score a sweet win for the US Army and the soldiers who defend our great country. In the video above Newman talks about the final laps of Sunday's race.
