Roush Fenway Racing teammates Matt Kenseth and Greg Biffle led Friday's opening NASCAR Sprint Cup practice sessions for Sunday's Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Kenseth lapped the historical 2.5-mile track at 181.203 mph in the first session with Kasey Kahne, Denny Hamlin, Carl Edwards and David Ragan filling out the top-five.
Biffle's lap at 178.310 mph was fastest in the second session followed by Martin Truex, Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Casey Mears and Kevin Harvick.
Sprint Cup Happy Hour is set for Saturday at 10 a.m.
