Marcos Ambrose posted a fast lap of 126.604 mph to lead Sprint Cup Happy Hour practice Friday afternoon at Watkins Glen International. Ambrose has won three Nationwide races on the eleven-turn road course located in upstate New York and will be competitive in Sunday's Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

Kurt Busch had the second fastest lap in final practice at 125.795 mph. Series point leader Carl Edwards was third quick followed by Brad Keselowski and Martin Truex, Jr. 

Kyle Busch recorded the fastest lap in the first practice with a lap at 125.566 mph and was 16th on the speed chart in Happy Hour.

Sprint Cup Series drivers will make their qualifying runs Saturday at 11:40 a.m. ET.
