One of five hardcore race fans could become one million dollars richer if one of the four drivers locked into the 2011 Sprint Summer Showdown takes the checkered flag in tonight's AdvoCare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
As part of the three million dollar promotion the selected fans were among those who correctly picked the winners of Sprint Cup races at Pocono, Watkins Glen, Michigan and Bristol.
Andrea Gay of Voorhees, N.J., Helene Cross of Kansas City, Mo., Ron Rempinski of St. Charles, Mo., Dana Hardie of Laurel Hill, N.C. and Molly Hilyard of Sidney, Ohio are paired with Paul Menard, Brad Keselowski, Marcos Ambrose and Kyle Busch.
Should one of the four drivers win tonight's race in Atlanta the driver will collect a one million dollar bonus from Sprint in addition to their purse winnings. Their fan and a charity of the driver’s choice will also collect one million each.
Since Keselowski won Pocono and Bristol Cross and Hilyard would split the payoff if the Blue Deuce crosses the finish line first, according to the contest rules.
