Matt Kenseth parked his No. 17 Roush Ford on the pole in Saturday's qualifying session for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Chicagoland Speedway. Paul Menard lines up on the outside of tomorrow's front row.
Kenseth circled the 1.5-mile track at 183.243 mph while Menard ran 183.125 mph on his best lap.
Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman and Carl Edwards completed the top-five.
Starting sixth through 10th are Brad Keselowski, Greg Biffle, Brian Vickers, Kyle Busch and Joey Logano.
Travis Kvapil, David Starr, Stephen Leicht and Mike Skinner did not make the 43-car field.
Sunday's race will be televised live on ESPN at 2 p.m. ET.
