After a persistent rain fall at Chicagoland Speedway for most of the day Sunday NASCAR has rescheduled the opening Sprint Cup race of the 2011 Chase until noon eastern on Monday.
Polesitter Matt Kenseth said he did not think the rain would create any issues for Monday's race.
"I think it will change the first 40 or 50 laps until the track gets rubbered up again and then I think it will be similar to what it has been all weekend" said Kenseth.
Monday's 400-miler will be broadcast live on ESPN.
