NASCAR Heads North to New Hampshire

newman-2011The stars and cars of NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series travel to New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend for round two of the Chase and will be joined at the "Magic Mile" by the Camping World Truck Series while Nationwide teams take a well deserved break.

 

Kevin Harvick carries the Sprint Cup point lead to the Granite State with Tony Stewart seven points behind in second. After his win last week, Austin Dillon moved into second place in the Truck Series standings and is just three points back of leader James Buescher with seven stops remaining on the 2011 schedule.

 

The action gets going Friday morning with Truck Series drivers getting in their first of two practices for the day at 10:00 a.m. Sprint Cup drivers hit the track at 11:30 a.m., watch it live on ESPN2. Final Truck Series practice rolls off at 1:15 p.m. with Sprint Cup qualifying at 3:10 p.m., live on SPEED.

 

Saturday in Loudon begins at 9:40 a.m. with the second Sprint Cup practice followed by Truck Series qualifying at 10:40 a.m. Sprint Cup Happy Hour gets underway at 11:30 a.m. then an exciting Camping World Truck Series race goes live on SPEED at 2:30 p.m.

 

Chase Race number two is set for Sunday and will be live on ESPN beginning with the NASCAR Countdown at 1:00 p.m. Driver introductions start at 1:30 p.m. and the green is scheduled to drop at 2:15 p.m. All times are eastern.
