kurt-busch-leads-johnson-at-doverKurt Busch powered by Jimmie Johnson on a restart with 42 laps remaining to score his first career win at Dover International Speedway in Sunday's AAA 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

The two championship contenders have a bitter rivalry that escalated to an all time high three weeks ago at Richmond.

"It was great that we were able to jump on him on both restarts and pull away," Busch said after winning round three of the Chase. "I mean, to beat your arch-nemesis, that's just icing on the cake."

Carl Edwards looked to have the car to beat but encountered a pit road speeding penalty beyond the halfway point of the 400 lap race that dropped him from fourth to 28th in the running order. Edwards bounced back to finish third.

Kasey Kahne and Matt Kenseth completed the top five.

Tony Stewart, who won the first two Chase races and arrived in Dover with the point lead, finished 25th and is currently third in the standings.

Edwards is now tied with Kevin Harvick for the top spot in the Chase as the series heads to Kansas next week.
