Jimmie Johnson held off Kasey Kahne on a green-white-checkered finish to win Sunday's Hollywood Casino 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Kansas Speedway in dominating style.

Johnson led 197 laps of the 272-lap event to break a 21-race winless streak, the longest of the five-time champions career. Today's win

rocketed Johnson to third in the 2011 Chase. "I know what my team is capable of," said Johnson. "We showed today what we're capable of when we're all performing at the top of our game."

Brad Keselowski, Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards rounded out the top five. Kevin Harvick finished sixth followed Clint Bowyer, Greg Biffle, Marcos Ambrose and Mark Martin.

Edwards, who arrived in Kansas tied with Harvick for the point lead, heads to Charlotte with a one-point advantage over Harvick while Johnson trails by four with six races remaining.
