The Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet's of Mark Martin and Jimmie Johnson will lead the field to the green in this afternoon's Good Sam Club 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway. With Jeff Gordon lining up fifth and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. sixth on today's grid the powerhouse organization has all four of its cars at the front of the 43-car field.

Martin, who will turn over the wheel of the No. 5 to Kasey Kahne at season’s end, is proud to have the opportunity to start his last Talladega race for Hendrick Motorsports from the pole. Martin graciously credited his team for the pole winning performance.

"Everybody on the team is putting their whole heart into this and they know that there is a lot of changes coming at the end of the year," said Martin. "It's really cool to see us gain momentum here late in the season. I wish we could've started that back in the spring, but it feels really good."

Talladega's front row, Martin and Johnson, offer their comments in today's video interview.
