Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton pulled away from the field on the last restart and went on to finish one-two in Sunday's Good Sam 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. It was a sweet moment for Richard Childress, who says he got his first big break at the Alabama track more than forty years ago.
"It all started for RCR here in 1969 and it's great to come back to the same place that I really got my big break," Childress said after Clint Bowyer scored win number 100 for the RCR team. "It all started with an old 20 dollar race car and a dream."
Bowyer, in his final few races with RCR, gave his team owner a win he will never forget.
Bowyer, Burton and Childress share their comments in today’s video review.
