Michael McDowell topped the speed chart in the weekend's only practice for Sunday's TUMS Fast Relief 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway. Rain forced the cancellation of two scheduled sessions on Friday and qualifying on Saturday.
McDowell, piloting the No. 66 Victory Junction Toyota, clocked in at 95.893 mph with Clint Bowyer second quick at 95.782 mph.
Jimmie Johnson, Jamie McMurray and Scott Speed filled out the top five.
Sunday's starting order will be according to points with the green flag scheduled to wave just after 1:30 p.m.
