The 2011 Chase battle intensified this week with Tony Stewart issuing a warning to point leader Carl Edwards Sunday afternoon at Martinsville.
Stewart moved to second in the standings after winning his third Chase race last weekend and now trails Edwards by eight points with Texas, Phoenix and Homestead left to decide the championship.
"He better be worried. That's all I've got to say," Stewart said. "He isn't going to have an easy three weeks."
Edwards brushed off Stewart's comments and is confident heading to Texas.
"He's wound up, he won the race," Edwards said. "We'll see what happens at Texas. I feel like we're gonna go there and we're gonna have as good a shot to win as anyone."
Five-time champion Jimmie Johnson predicted Edwards to be the driver to beat at the beginning of the season and says it will be great competition until the end.
Today's video features comments from Edwards, Stewart and Johnson.
