The Miss Sprint Cup lineup for 2012 was introduced to race fans during Saturday's NASCAR preview in Charlotte.
Kristen Beat of El Cajon, California joins returning Miss Sprint Cup team members Kim Coon of Orlando, Florida and Jaclyn Roney of Ann Arbor, Michigan for the upcoming NASCAR season.
Beat, a former Fuel TV personality, raced motocross bikes prior to receiving her communications degree from the University of San Diego. She enjoys an active lifestyle that includes surfing and working out as well as following a healthy diet.
"I love technology and what it has enabled our culture to accomplish, so working with Sprint is a dream come true," said Beat. "As a former action sports broadcaster, writer and photographer, I've learned technology is key. Being able to capture a special moment through a camera phone, or have access to information at any location and then share it with the world is an amazing advantage to my generation."
Coon is excited to represent Sprint again this year after completing her first season as Miss Sprint Cup in 2011.
"Last year was one of the most thrilling seasons in NASCAR history," said Coon. "I'm really looking forward to seeing all the fans I was able to meet last year. I'm very thankful to have been asked back for another season and feel blessed to be able to do something I love day in and day out."
Roney debuted as Miss Sprint Cup in July 2011 and looks forward to her first Daytona 500 next month in Florida.
"There were so many amazing 'firsts' for me last season and I can't wait to get back to the tracks," said Roney.
"Being asked back for a second season was surreal. I'm looking forward to no longer wearing the rookie stripe and reconnecting with the fans. I'm counting down the days until we get to Daytona."
