Timothy Peters and Parker Kilgerman were fastest in Thursday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice sessions for Friday night's NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway.
Peters, who won the 2010 Daytona Truck Series race, clocked in at 185.578 mph in opening practice earlier today. Todd Bodine was second with a lap at 185.552 mph.
Chris Fontaine, Joey Coulter and Brendan Gaughan completed the top-five.
Kligerman sped around the 2.5-mile track at 192.872 mph during the Happy Hour session held after the Gatorade Duels.
Sprint Cup star Brad Keselowski ran 192.868 mph in the final session followed by Nelson Piquet Jr., Miguel Paludo and James Buescher.
Truck Series qualifying is scheduled at 4 p.m. on Friday with SPEED providing live coverage.
