Kasey Kahne collected his second pole win of the season in Saturday's qualifying session for Sunday's Goody's Fast Relief 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Martinsville Speedway.

Kahne, who has had his share of problems in the first five races of 2012, circled the .526-mile track at 97.128 mph in the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet to claim his 18th pole start since 2006.

"We've had great Fridays and Saturdays and just haven't put together a Sunday yet," said Kahne.

Defending race winner Kevin Harvick lines up on the outside of Kahne on tomorrow's grid with Denny Hamlin, Clint Bowyer and Ryan Newman rounding out the top five.

Brian Vickers, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon and Joey Logano complete the top-10.

Tony Raines was disqualified during a post-qualifying technical inspection when his car did not meet minimum height requirements, moving J.J. Yeley into the 43-car field.

Scott Speed and Mike Bliss did not make the field.

Sunday's 500-lap race will be televised live on FOX at 12:30 p.m. The green flag is scheduled to wave shortly after 1:00 p.m.
