NASCAR, ARCA Invade Talladega This Weekend

The stars and cars of the ARCA Series will join NASCAR’s Nationwide and Cup Series in kicking off the month of May with an action-packed weekend of white knuckle racing at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.

It all begins Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with a three-hour practice for ARCA Series drivers followed by. Nationwide Series practices at 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. ARCA qualifying caps the day at 6:05 p.m.

Friday opens with final ARCA practice at 11:00 a.m. Nationwide Series qualifying begins at 12:10 p.m. and you can watch it live on ESPN2. Back to back practices for the Sprint Cup Series follows at 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. respectively, both are live on SPEED. Then the stars of the ARCA Series take to the Talladega Super Speedway for the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250 live on SPEED at 5:00 p.m. Driver introductions begin at 4:30 p.m.

Sprint Cup Series qualifying gets underway Saturday at 12:10 p.m. live on SPEED. The Nationwide race rolls off at 3:00 p.m. with NASCAR Countdown live on ABC. Driver introductions begin at 2:45 p.m.

FOX has live coverage of Sunday’s Aaron’s 499 beginning at 1:00 p.m. with the NASCAR on FOX Pre-race show. Driver Introductions begin at 12:30 p.m.
