2012 NASCAR All-Star Race Weekend Schedule

NASCAR heads home to Charlotte, North Carolina this weekend for the running of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series All-Star race. Twenty drivers know they will be in the race and two drivers will transfer through the Sprint Showdown with another will join by winning the fan vote. Camping World Truck Series drivers join the fun on All-Star Weekend in Charlotte.

It all begins on Thursday at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pit Crew Challenge. NASCAR’s top pit crews go head to head to be the 2012 Pit Crew Challenge Champions live on SPEED Thursday at 8:00 p.m.

On-track action begins Friday with two practices for the Truck Series at 9:00 a.m. and 10:20 a.m., respectively. Sprint Showdown practice begins at 12:00 p.m. and is followed by All-Star practice at 1:35 p.m. Truck Series qualifying begins at 4:00 p.m. and is followed up with Sprint Showdown and All-Star Race Qualifying at 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The North Carolina Education 200 begins 7:30 p.m. with The Setup. Driver introductions also begin at 7:30 p.m. and all of Friday’s action can be seen live on SPEED.

Saturday’s 2012 Sprint Cup All-Star Race will be live on SPEED at 6:20 p.m. with the Victory Challenge as drivers look to do their best burnout celebration. The Sprint Showdown begins at 7:30 p.m. with driver introductions beginning at 7:00 p.m. Driver introductions for the All-Star race will begin at approximately 8:20 p.m. with the race slated to start at 9:00 p.m.
