NASCAR Chase Heads to Talladega; TV Schedule

Round four of the 2012 NASCAR Chase hits the fast Talladega Super Speedway this weekend, indeed the true wild card in the 10-race battle for the Sprint Cup. The Camping World Truck Series promises plenty of action on Saturday while the Nationwide Series takes a breather.


Clint Bowyer took in the checkered flag in the Cup race last October while Mike Wallace enjoyed his trip to Talladega’s Victory Lane after the truck race.


Friday begins with the only Camping World Truck Series practice of the weekend at 10:30 a.m. Then two Sprint Cup Series practices are next at 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Truck Series qualifying gets under way at 5:10 p.m. All can be seen live on SPEED.


NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying rolls off at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, watch live on SPEED. Camping World Truck Series drivers take center stage with the running of the Coca-Cola 250 beginning at 3:30 p.m. with The Setup. Driver introductions start at 3:30 p.m.


Coverage of Sunday’s Good Sam Club 500 begins 1:00 p.m. with NASCAR Countdown live on ESPN. Driver introductions begin at 1:30 p.m.
