The British marvel, Paul Poulter, will commandeer the No. 40 Chevrolet Silverado for Key Motorsports this weekend at The Milwaukee Mile.

Chad Chaffin will sit out, and looks to play the role of a mentor this weekend.

“Paul is trying to get established in NASCAR and this is a great opportunity for him. With a second place finish at Milwaukee, I will be there to teach Paul what I know and help guide him through the weekend,” Chaffin stated.

Lance Hooper, No. 40 Key Motorsports Crew Chief, is ready to participate in the race with Poulter. “We had a successful test in Lakeland, FL with Paul. He has a lot of truck control and I am looking forward to seeing what he can do on the track,” an eager Hooper said.

Poulter has been in the British racing scene for over 24 years; attaining two championships in Superstox – European & British Championship, and two others in the Pickup Truck Racing league which came in 2005 and 2006.

Poulter is anxious to compete in Milwaukee with Key Motorsports. “I am looking forward to a good run and getting the truck back in one piece, as well as logging in good lap times and gain more experience,” Poulter stated. “Key Motorsports is such a professional team which supplies good equipment and has a great group of very experienced guys. I like the boys on this team, they are really good.”
