Bodine Makes Impressive Pass To Collect Second Win Of 2008 Season

Beginning the race in the fifth position, Todd Bodine showed the nation that he was capable of winning by leading the competition several times throughout the race. Sure it's good to lead, but theres only one time that it means anything... when that checkerd flag is woven.

Bodine was in the lead at the conclusion of the race, earning his second consecutive victory at Talladega Superspeedway.

A tremendous last lap pass of Kyle Busch made everything possible.

The bump that Bodine put on Busch shook him up enough to let himself and second place finisher Ron Hornaday Jr. get by. Busch ended the race in third.

The Roush Fenway group arrived at Talladega with a roar, taking the top three starting positions.

Colin Braun was the highest finishing of that group, despite being the lowest qualifier of the three. Braun only lost one spot from his third starting place to finish fourth.

His teammates Erik Darnell and John Wes Townley could not hold their spots during the race. Darnell finished 12th and Townley concluded the race in 18th.

Mike Wallace was able to improve five spots on his 10th place starting position to wrap-up the top-5.

With Hornaday finishing second, Johnny Benson lost the lead in the point standings as a result of his 11th place finish. Benson now trails Hornaday by 39 points with five races remaining in the 2008 season.
