After three weeks off, the stars of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series are back in action this weekend. Taking to the track at the Kansas Speedway, twenty-eight trucks made the trip for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 250.
Brian Scott paced the day’s first practice session in his No. 16 Albertsons Toyota with a fast-lap of 32.718 seconds at a speed of 165.047 mph. Veteran Ron Hornaday Jr. was second-quick in opening session with a lap of 32.719 seconds at a speed of 165.042 mph in his No. 33 Kevin Harvick Inc. Chevrolet.
Matt Crafton posted the third-fastest time of the session, while Todd Bodine and Chad McCumbee rounded out the top-5. Mike Skinner, Timothy Peters, David Starr, T.J. Bell Jr. and Colin Braun made up the rest of the top-10. Final practice is scheduled for later this evening, with qualifying for Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 set for 1:45pm E.T.
