Kansas Truck Race Postponed Due To Rain
Written by Lindsey Marks

mike-skinnerNASCAR has officially postponed the Camping World Truck Series O’Reilly 250 at Kansas. The caution flag came out on lap 51 followed by the red flag after the clouds opened up. Due to the fact that Kansas Speedway does not have lights it was not an option to continue the event tonight even if the rain stopped and the track was dried.

At the time of the red flag Mike Skinner was leading the pack. However, Ron Hornaday had led the majority of the laps since the green flag had first been dropped. Ricky Carmichael spun twice during the beginning laps but managed to get back on the lead lap when he became the Lucky Dog. Todd Bodine also had some bad luck early in the event.

The event has been postponed until Monday at 10 a.m. ET on Speed.
