colin-braunIt looked as if Colin Braun was going to score his first career NASCAR victory earlier this year at Lowe's but thanks to contact from Kyle Busch Braun was forced to wait another day. That day finally came on Saturday when the young driver was able to hold off Busch to score the win and give team owner Jack Roush his fiftieth career win in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Leading twice for a total of twenty-six laps, Braun was able to bring his No. 6 Conway Freight Ford home in one piece and collect his first NASCAR checkered flag. Braun took the lead from Busch for the final time on Lap 77 when Busch was held up by the lapped truck of Norm Benning. From there, Braun never looked back.

Rookie pole-sitter Brian Ickler came home in the third-spot, followed by points leader Matt Crafton. Mike Skinner overcame contact early in the race to come back and finish in the fifth-spot.

The Michigan 200 saw six leaders and was slowed by five cautions for a total of twenty laps. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads off to the Milwaukee Mile next weekend for the Camping World RV Sales 200.
