With rain in the area, NASCAR officials have cancelled Friday’s qualifying session for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Copart 200 at The Milwaukee Mile. The starting line-up for tonight’s race has been set according to the NASCAR rule book, giving Brian Ickler his second pole in two weeks.
Last week in Michigan, Ickler was able to score his first career pole in the No. 15 Billy Ballew owned Toyota. This weekend the young driver will take the reins of the No. 51 while teammate Kyle Busch takes a break from the series. Thanks to being first in owner points, Ickler will lead the field to the green for the second week in a row.
Matt Crafton will roll off for tonight’s Copart 200 from the outside of row number one. The driver of the No. 88 Thorsport Chevrolet is looking to improve on his second place finish at the Milwaukee Mile last year. Carrying the Copart colors tonight, Ron Hornaday JR. will start from the third-spot, while Mike Skinner and Todd Bodine round out the top-5. Rain washed away the day’s earlier practice session, but NASCAR has revised the schedule to allow for a forty-minute final practice session prior to the start of tonight’s race, which is scheduled for 9pm E.T.
