colin-braunAs the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to Kentucky Speedway after a two week hiatus, Roush Fenway Racing driver Colin Braun is eager to get the No. 6 Con-way Freight Ford back on the track.

Collecting his first win last month at Michigan International Speedway, the young driver is confident in his performances on intermediate tracks and looks to earn his second career win this weekend.

Climbing ten positions in the past four races, Braun currently sits in the tenth spot 101 points out of fifth.

In addition to his to his recent consistency, Braun is hungry for another Truck Series victory.

“I have been looking forward to the Kentucky race ever since we won at Michigan last month,” said Braun. “We always seem to run well at the intermediate tracks. Kentucky is a fun track to drive, but the biggest challenge is getting through the bumps. Having a truck that is consistent on the long runs, maintaining good track position throughout the race and good pit stops are all important factors to be in contention for the win. It would be cool to win at Kentucky since Ford sponsors the race. We won in their backyard at MIS last month, so now maybe we can win their race too.”
