Terry Cooking Up Speed At Kentucky

In the final practice session for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Terry Cook climbed atop the leaderboards with a fast lap of 31.484 seconds at a top speed of 171.516 miles per hour.

 

Cook beat Mike Skinner's chart-topping time in the first practice by .199 seconds. Aiming for his first win in the HT Motorsports Toyota, Cook certainly made himslef a threat with his effort.

 

stacy-comptonStacy Compton joined Cook as the only two drivers to log top-5 speeds in both practice sessions. Navigating Kentucky Speedway in 31.495 seconds with a max speed of 171.456 miles per hour, Compton nearly earned the honors on to of the scoreboard.

 

With a time of 31.587 seconds and a speed of 170.956 miles per hour, T.J. Bell improved ten spots from his 13th place effort earlier to grab the third spot.

 

Johnny Sauter and Todd Bodine took the remaining of the top-5 honors.

 

Wrapping up the top-10 were Mike Skinner, Rick Crawford, Matt Crafton, Ricky Carmichael and Dennis Setzer.
