Kyle Busch took the checkers in last night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series WinStar World Casino 350 at Texas Motor Speedway for his fifth win in five starts in that series.
Busch won last weekend at the Talladega, in September at Loudon and two-consecutive weeks in August at Bristol and Chicagoland. He took the checkers just in front of Matt Crafton and Ron Hornaday who are battling for the series championship. Going into the weekend, Hornaday had a 202 point lead on Crafton but by finishing second at Texas, Crafton made up a few valuable points on Hornaday’s lead.
Todd Bodine and Colin Braun rounded out the top-five. Johnny Sauter and Brian Scott finished 6th and 7th, respectively, followed by Mike Skinner, David Starr and Rick Crawford. Busch will be running both the Nationwide Series race and the Sprint Cup Series race at Texas this weekend; if he wins them all it will be a perfect Texas trio of wins. MORE NASCAR NEWS
