Braun Bests Competitors For Truck Pole

colin-braunColin Braun in the No. 6 Con-way Freight/TruLTL.com Ford F-Series truck earned the pole for tonight’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. His fast lap at 32.095 seconds at 168.251mph beat the second place qualifier, Chad McCumbee, by almost a full two-tenths of a second.

 

McCumbee ran a 32.224 second lap at 167.577mph in his No. 07 Valvoline Fuel Proof/tiwi Chevy Silverado and will roll off 2nd tonight.

 

Kevin Harvick Inc. drivers Kevin Harvick and Series points champion Ron Hornaday qualified 3rd and 4th, respectively.

Mike Skinner will start tonight’s race in 5th place in the No. 5 Exide Toyota Tundra.

 

Timothy Peters, Matt Crafton, NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Kyle Busch, Johnny Sauter and Jason White rounded out the top-10.

 

The Ford 200 is scheduled to broadcast on SPEED tonight at 7:30pm ET.
