KHI Announces 2010 Truck Series Crew Chiefs
Written by Zach Davis
Friday, 11 December 2009 09:22

ron-hornadayKevin Harvick Inc. announced early this morning that crew chiefs Dave Fuge and Doug George have joined the organization for the 2010 season.

Rick Ren, former crew chief of KHI driver Ron Hornaday’s championship truck, announced his departure from the team just over a week ago and then disclosed last Friday that he will be joining NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kyle Busch’s new team.

Fuge, former championship team owner of Xpress Motorsports, will be taking over as Hornaday’s crew chief and George will call the shots for the No. 2 truck after most recently serving as crew chief for Busch and Almirola at Billy Ballew Motorsports.

"I think both Dave (Fuge) and Doug (George) will be great additions to our organization," KHI co-owner Harvick, said. "The West Coast connection between all three of our crew chiefs is a really neat tie. Dave comes to us with championship experience and I believe that will continue to be a championship winning team.  Doug also comes to us with extensive knowledge of the sport and will be a good match to
keep that team competitive.  I think the chemistry between all three of our crew chiefs will bring KHI to an entirely new level of success."
