Hornaday Earns NASCAR Truck Series Pole

ron-hornaday2009 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday earned the pole for today’s E-Z-GO 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway with a 31.195 second lap at 177.721mph.

 

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regular and Truck Series team owner Kyle Busch was barely edged out for the top spot. Matt Crafton held the pole for quite some time during the qualifying session but ended up third.

 

Kevin Harvick and Austin Dillon qualified 4th and 5th, respectively.

 

Steve Wallace, Aric Almirola, Geoff Bodine, Johnny Sauter and Todd Bodine rounded out the top-10.

 

The E-Z-GO 200 is scheduled to broadcast on SPEED at 2pm ET today.
