Austin Dillon will start from the pole for the second time in as many races after clocking in at 176.488 mph in qualifying for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway, edging Ron Hornaday, Jr. for the top spot. Hornaday turned a fast lap at 175.914 mph and lines up second on the grid.
"I think track position is going to be important because passing is hard here," said Dillon. "Being out front is going to help. We’ve just got to keep it there.”
James Buescher, Matt Crafton and Elliott Sadler qualified third through fifth. The VFW 200 is scheduled to run Saturday afternoon at 2 pm ET. VFW 200 QUALIFYING RESULTS MORE NASCAR NEWS
