austin-dillonOne week after Dale Earnhardt Jr. got the No. 3 into Victory Lane once more, Austin Dillon is proving that he belongs in the famed number in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series by capturing the pole for Sunday's Lucas Oil 200 at Iowa Speedway.

This is the third consecutive pole for the rookie driver making him the first in the Series' history to do so.

Dillon's fast lap of 23.288 seconds at 135.263mph in the Bass Pro Shops/Remington Arms/Tracker Chevy Silverado out ran Aric Almirola's lap of 23.454 seconds.

Almirola will start second tomorrow followed by Stacy Compton, Brian Ickler, and Johnny Sauter.

Ickler was the fastest in the second Truck Series practice session Friday with a fast lap of 23.618 seconds at 133.373mph which bested Dillon for the top spot in that practice.

Sauter, Matt Crafton and Almirola rounded out the top-5 in that session.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 200 at Iowa Speedway is scheduled to broadcast on SPEED at 2pm ET.
