Dillon, Crafton Fastest In Truck Practices

matt-craftonAustin Dillon, winner of last week's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Iowa Speedway, led the first round of practice at Gateway International Raceway Friday afternoon as Truck Series competitors prepare for the CampingWorld.com 200.

 

 

Dillon sped around the 1.25-mile oval track at 132.994 mph, topping Kevin Harvick's lap at 132.035 mph. Brad Keselowski, Stacy Compton and Matt Crafton were third through fifth quick in the opening session.

 

Matt Crafton led Happy Hour, turning in a fast lap at 133.980 mph with Harvick clocking in second fastest with a tour of GIR at 133.837 mph. Justin Lofton, Brad Keselowski and Brian Ickler completed the top-five.

 

Hardcore race fans can catch Truck Series qualifying and the CampingWorld.com 200 live on SPEED beginning at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
