Elliott Sadler and Austin Dillon topped the speed charts in practice sessions held Friday at Pocono Raceway as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers and teams prepare for the Pocono Mountains 125.
Sadler led the first session, driving the KHI No. 2 at an average speed of 161.562 mph around the triangular shaped track located in Pennsylvania. Rounding out the top-five were Austin Dillon, Todd Bodine, Kasey Kahne and James Buescher.
Dillon clocked in fastest during the final practice, piloting the black No. 3 RCR prepared Chevrolet Silverado at 161.461 mph. Denny Hamlin posted the second fastest lap in the later session, followed by Kasey Kahne, Elliott Sadler and Justin Lofton. 37 trucks participated in each of the two practices. The Pocono Mountains 125 will be broadcast on SPEED at 12:30 pm ET Saturday, July 31. MORE NASCAR NEWS
